Does anyone still do their own CV? LinkedIn has become the website of reference for advertising one’s working history and skills. At the same time, companies use it to find the most suitable candidates for vacant positions. And to do so they are increasingly focusing on the skills of candidates, a section to which LinkedIn is devoting ever more space. In all, it allows the website to accumulate a huge amount of data that, summarised, show which skills are the most sought after every year. This year, those related to the management, analysis and presentation of data are again the qualities that offer the greatest chance of finding work in 2017.
Thus, Cloud and Distributed Computing remains unmoved, in first place, among the Top Skills of 2016, as does Statistical Analysis and Data Mining in second position. The podium is completed with what LinkedIn calls Web Architecture and Development Framework, which rises six places compared to last year. Meanwhile, for the first time Data Presentation appears on the list, entering in eighth place.
